why can't i ssh into my iphone?

when i had 4.1 i could ssh but when i custom restored to 4.2.1 it wouldnt let me ssh ? is there any way to fix this while on 4.2.1? thanks

Probably because you failed to install openssh on the phone. Baseband has nothing to do with ssh. It works just fine for me on 4.2.1.
