Why Can't I Transfer DRM-Free Music Videos to My PS3?

I transfer the music videos from my Mac to my USB Drive then to my PS3. When I import it, it says "CORRUPT FILE - UNABLE TO PLAY". How can I fix that?

the PS3 may be unable to read whatever format the videos are in. It has trouble with certain AVI files, and even mp4 files.
