I'm by no means a programmer.. but I have strong basic understanding of technology.. if OS X on a Mac can update without being directly connected to anything other than itself (and the internet).. why can't iDevices simply update themselves via the App Store instead of having to connect to iTunes? I'm sure we'd have to be on Wifi.. but is this not feasible? The App Store basically functions like Software Update on OS X as far as updating goes..
