Why is iTunes only capable of displaying one visualizer mode without us having to manually switch between them? The new visualizer is cool, but it's repetitive. And the same goes for the lathe, jelly and stix visualizers. I can select one visualizer system, turn on the visualizer view to watch it, then turn off the visualizer view and select a different visualizer system to watch. Why can't iTunes just automatically transition between all the different visualizers? I'm sure there's a technical reason, but it seems like it should be easily surmountable.
Of course that seems like rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic. There are so many bigger things wrong with itunes' interface that this is a fleetingly minor issue. Still, over the past couple of years it seems like Apple has given a high priority to improving the visualizer system, so it just seems bizarre that they haven't made this obviously major improvement to it yet.
What's the deal?
