I noticed that for protective cases built for MBP 2015 or former ones, there were only holes open for ports. However, since Apple changed the design with butterfly keyboard and the current MBP 16", there are a lot of unprotected areas (e.g. corners near the hinge). How come? Why don't they cover those two corners as well?

Why cases for pre-2016 MBP cover the device entirely but not those post-2015?
