Why did I bother pre-ordering???

Pre-ordered on the 8th but the order status is saying my iPad 3 and leather case won't be dispatched until 2nd April! I'm sure I could probably go and pick one up from somewhere next week. I know the demand is high but surely Apple should have planned for this. Waiting almost another month (estimated delivery is 10 April) sucks big time!

Is it worth calling and asking why? Wonder if it would help bring the delivery forward.

SO frustrated! At least I've got my iPad1 but I want my new one NOW! LOL
