Why did I get a text message from AT&T about LTE?

I live in the Killeen, Texas area and I swear I got a text message stating they brought LTE to my area. However it doesn't show up on the coverage and city stuff on AT&T's website.

I swear they sent me and my father a text message (he got one too) on that. Or am I just crazy?

I'm not sure lol. I should probably go ask. I only have a iPhone 4S.

The AT&T LTE coverage map doesn't have my area colored for LTE but I have LTE. Kinda weird.

So that just means they haven't updated their coverage map to include Killeen. What about that is hard to understand?
