Why did i waste money on Toast

I have yet to successfully burn 1 CD/DVD ever since i've gotten Toast 8. i always get the error below no matter what i try to do. Using different discs have yet to help.

Mofo will just NOT WORK!. Disck utility burns like a champ but its obviously limited. Now i just have this paperweight software. Ugh!

Toast 8

get a free program called Mac The Ripper. This program will remove all the limitations on the disc you want to copy.:)
 
Not as highly touted... but read up on MediaFork here. And then you can DL it and give that a shot. For what it's worth, I only used it once to encode (is that the word for compressing Video TS folders?) a DVD.
 
toast 8 is great so it's gotta be something.

is it an audio CD? movie DVD? video_ts folder? data DVD?

what are you trying to burn?

that is one place to start.

If Roxio can't help you get it working, sell it on eBay or something.
