when i downloaded evernote? i am not exactly sure at what point it happened, but, i downloaded evernote from chrome and was browsing the site. looked up in left-hand corner and noticed safari was showing. i think this has happened before but i just kinda shrugged my shoulders and moved on.

this is a new macbook pro with retina screen. this is my first experience with mac, and, for what it's worth, i am middle-aged man learning how to use a home computer.

apologies, i see i posted to wrong heading.

It's likely that Chrome wasn't set as your default browser.

Open Chrome, click on the Chrome menu (upper left), then Preferences. Near the bottom of the new preferences window that opens there is a Default Browser option.
