I don't really remember what I was doing but it just turned off then when I tried to turn it on it would make a sound like when you turn it off. I think its the hard drive stopping but its like high pitched to low. and it kept doing that then after a few times I got it to start up.

Probably just overheated. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it becomes a recurring issue.
Also, when something like that happens the best thing to do is to let it sit for a few minutes before attempting to turn it back on. I mean, it shut off right? So obviously turning it right back on isn't going to help.
