So, Tuesday I ordered a 2.8 MBP, 7200 320GB HD (just changed to prepared for shipment btw) but yesterday I got a e-mail saying the displayport adapter for DVI had been shipped. A) I didn't order an adapter and it doesn't say it comes with one and B) why would apple, who is supposedly trying to be green, ship this separately from the rest of the package? Did anybody else have this happen?

I read some people have their orders listed as Ipod Touches. Maybe Apple is having problems with their systems. Also, they probably ship accessories and computers separately. When I ordered my PowerBook 3 years ago, they sent my applecare package and Powerbook separately.

Oh yeah, and call Apple to make sure that you got your computer sent out. They'll probably tell you to keep the adapter if it actually does come.

It is probably the AppleCare that I bought, and they are just having trouble with their system, but I can always hope I guess, thanks for the reply
