Seriously, it went from Apple -> About This Mac -> Storage to Apple -> About This Mac -> More Info, Scroll Down -> Storage Settings -> All Volumes. I don't think a redo of system preferences is totally a bad idea but this one is so bad.

Why did they make it take so many clicks to see the storage overview

Ugh, that doesn't sound great. I use that often too.
I suppose you save a couple clicks by adding the About This Mac.app to your dock. It's located in Macintosh HD > System > Library > Core Services > Applications. I like keeping a shortcut to that Applications folder in my Finder sidebar. Note there's a direct Storage Management.app there too.
