for instance, if apple is obsessed with battery life, why didn't they choose the Mobility Radeon HD 5650. it's a more powerful gpu as well as it is efficient, in regards to the nVidia 330m.
the ATI card uses 10-15w and i've researched that the 330m uses about 23w (someone confirm please)
in my opinion i doubt that it has anything to do with nVidia's optimus, because it's within the software that switches between the Intel HD and nVidia correct?
are hardware limitations the reason why? is the ati a bulky card? pricey? i don't know. someone tell me
