here is a jib I made and some footage with it.
I think I will add a 10 pound weight instead of the 5lb to give it smoother action.

Not bad, a little shaky in some places; A number of DIY jibs out on the inter web always makes me think of building my own whenever I see the prices over on Kessler.

now that I look at it again, it does have some shake.

I think that I need to work on the bolts a bit. The whole thing is held on with one wing nut. Add to that, it's on wheels.
Gonna tweek it over the next few days to get it smooth.
Cost $50 plus the tripod which I had around.

Isn't that what's causing the stuttering playback ? There is some shake but with a smooth cam filter or shot stabilizer it should be fine. The stuttering frame rate is what's disturbing me.

Otherwise do you have a link for the build instructions ?
