Why do Apple fans hate MS and yet continue to buy Xbox and pay for Xbox LIVE?

I was over at the thread about Windows Phone 7 and was surprised at the hate towards MS even though half of them owned an Xbox.

They use the same criticisms levelled towards Xbox when MS first unveiled it.

So why do they keep paying for MS stuff??!!
