I was going to download an app called Minitube that I saw on the App Store yesterday.

Checked out a few reviews and thought "yep, that's for me, I'll have that."

Went back this morning to download and it's gone.
Where'd it go?

No explanation, no link, nothings stating that it had been removed on the developer's site.

Why are Apps suddenly removed rather than being listed as unavailable for whatever reason?

Calm down! I removed the old non-working version and am waiting for approval of the update.

Sometimes Apple decides the app is violating Apple's rules. Maybe the developer withdrew the app for his/her own reasons.

Yes he did, the quote from ScoobyMcDoo states an update.
Glad I didn't download it as it says 'non working version', I'd been posting up 'why doesn't minitube work on Lion?

Maybe I'm a bit old fashioned in some respects but I'd have thought the page would still have been there with a message that the app was temporarily unavailable, that way potential customers would still come back to check availability.
Still, I'm not a businessman nor a developer so that's just a thought from a consumer's angle.

Thanks for posting the quote from the developer's site, much appreciated.
