abhishekit macrumors 65816 Nov 6, 2003 1,297 0 akron , ohio Dec 21, 2004 #3 SIM cards basically contain the access code to the network. I guess in CDMA phones the access codes or 'spread codes' are hard coded. So you can not use your phone in any other network.
