I am confused by this. I've never downloaded Final Cut Studio so why do I have a folder for in Library/Application Support/? I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Thanks peeps.

You or somebody else must have installed it at some point, because that folder is not there on a default install.

I've never downloaded Final Cut Studio and to my knowledge no one else had downloaded it onto my computer either. Could it be a subfolder for something else that came stock with the computer or is it a back door file created by a hacker to access my computer? Kinda weirded out by this.

Nope... that folder got created when someone installed FCS on that machine. If you select the folder in Finder then hit command-i a window will popup and you can see the date and time the folder was created if that will help you.

I don't see how a hacker could have done this.

Final Cut Studio must be installed from the discs, not downloadable. Someone had to physically install the programs.
