Why do I have to give all my info if I just want to RESERVE the iPhone

All I want to do is RESERVE the iPhone and pick it up at the store at launch day, similar to how you can reserve and iPad and pick one up when they come in. I know with my iPad, all I had to do was enter my apple ID and I think an email address and that was all.

Why for the iPhone 4 must I enter all this BS just to reserve one for store pick-up?

I havn't gotten to that section yet, but I'n guessing it is to make your time at the store as quick and painless and possible. Stores will be jammed and wait times will be long as it is.

it sucks because I'm on a business plan and they haven't paid their bill, therefore it won't let me reserve or pre-order an iPhone, I'm really ***** pissed about that right now.

Ah, I guess that is a very valid point. I just wish you could still pre-order the phone even if you haven't paid your bill yet. Which I actually think the billed was paid, AT&T just didn't receive it yet.
