Why do I need to keep entering my serial number for FCP?

Hey everyone,

I just installed FCS 2 on my Leopard machine and whenever I open Final Cut Pro it asks for the serial number. Why do I have to enter it every time? This never happened with Final Cut 5 on my machine. Please help!
