So, wtf mate!

There's people who just keep showing up on my buddylist, and I don't know why.

They weren't on my buddylist previously - but anytime i accept a message from someone not on my buddylist, its like they get added automatically in the "recent buddies" category.

i don't remember changing any settings for this, or anything.
could it have anything to do with the fact that i was recently signed on AIM for Mac and had file sharing open for anyone, and those that connected were added?
But then, how come people keep getting added randomly now that AIM is off and I'm back on iChat without file sharing at all?

Thanks all for any ideas.

Recent buddies is just that, the people that you've recently talked to. That's why everyone you talk to is getting automatically added to that list. If you don't want them to show up, turn off the Recent Buddies display in the Groups popup menu when you click just under your name and icon.
