I've seen so many threads lately about Apple being greedy and charging too much for their products and screwing over the consumer. Here's a novel concept: They're a business. Their whole goal is to make money. They aren't there to produce phones and sell them for just enough to break even after they pay their employees. That's why the 5C is plastic now. Because selling the 5 for $100 would have cost them more money. If they sold the 5C for $50 like people are saying, they probably would make roughly the same amount as selling a 5 for $100. Why would they do that? It boggles my mind that people don't understand that concept.
