Why do some Apps not open sometimes? I click it and it starts to load then shuts down

Why do some Apps not open sometimes? I click it and it starts to load then shuts down really fast (approx 1 second). for example right now the TwitterFon app will not open for me. One time it did it with the Facebook app. It opens for a second (doesnt actually load any content just kind of starts up) then shuts down again constantly and i cannot get it to open.

It means the device has low memory. You can turn it off and then on again to clear memory, or you can get apps like iStat to clear it.
