So I’m doing this on my iPhone 12 mini but presume it’s the same for all 12 models.

Like others I have a fairly warm screen on my 12 mini which I’m not overly fussed by, you get used to it. But for some reason every now and again certain UI elements will display in pure white. See the attached screenshot.

You can’t see it on the screenshot, but the bar that says “Found in iCloud Inbox” appears pure white while the rest of my screen, and every other app, is warm.

Give it a try. Search for something in Mail and select a result and you should see the same thing.

Does anyone know why this is, or how, this is happening? Clearly the phone can display pure white when it wants to.

And yes this is with TrueTone on and off.
