On my now-sold WhiteBook, and on my base 15" Unibody, Contribute CS4 beachballs on me as soon as it gets to the "welcome" screen with the purple header, and I have to force quit. Is Contribute supposed to be some kind of joke?

Why does Adobe Contribute crash every time I open it?

Because it sucks!! I bought it and it will not work on my black Mac Book or my brand new Mac Pro. 1/2 the time it hangs when you launch and I have NEVER been able to get it to connect to the web server. I found some links that and stuff like install Safari Beta, nothing I have tried works. I tried connecting to the site on the same computers with the same info via ftp NO PROBLEM. I have ver 3.1 on a PC and connected no problem. Tried the updater for CS4... yeah that did nothing either. How can Adobe sell a product that does not even work?
