Why does Google keep making terrible updates to their mobile site? (not the app)

Of course I can, it's that the underlining clearly separated it from the other text. And no, being larger and in a different color is not sufficient. It all runs together much more now. Whoever is in charge of design at Google should have been fired a long time ago. I've seen thousands of people complaining online about the changes they've made in the last few years.

This has nothing to do with the Google app which I don't even have. This is for the mobile site.
And I complain only when the design flaw can't be ignored and interferes significantly with the functionality and or aesthetics of the software/website. This is especially annoying when it's a downgrade from a previously adequate design.

Obviously because it is still the best/only option, they just keep ruining it. These web sites have a monopoly on their functions, no other search engine comes close to Google. This should be obvious.
Facebook is the only/most used social network of its kind. MySpace is all but unused.
Words With Friends is by far the best/only Scrabble game everyone uses.
Whatever, I come here in hopes of finding some relief from my suffering at the hands of these evil corporations who obviously don't give a damn about the consumer.
Yes, suffering, please tell us more about the terrible pain caused by these heartless corporations who:
Poorly designed instagram
Had the audacity to update WWF
Dared to release SnapChat
No blowing away users with iOS7 beta
Not letting you join photostream
Did...something with wikipedia
Changed the layout of google image search
Released a product that you didn't like as much as the last one
Wikipedia again
Something about AutoTrader
Facebook shenanigans
Placement of app buttons
Ads in free apps
Because otherwise clocks would go backwards.

If you're so bothered about it, do something about it and get senior positions in these heartless corps so you can make them less heartless with their lack of lines under search result text. Complaining about it here isn't going to do ****.
Like I said, I come here in hopes of finding relief in others who share my frustration. More importantly I hope to discover info about these annoying changes and whether they will be permanent or are just temporary/trial.
