I'm not sure if this is normal, but while navigating through Finder, I noticed that iMovie, in my Applications folder, has a little X above it.

What is this about?

What OS, and what iMovie version is installed?

I have the latest Mountain Lion installed, and whatever the latest iMovie is, I guess. Basically, my Mac is up to date.

Although, looking at the Applications folder now, the icon seems to be normal again.

You get that behaviour when the app is updating itself. Notice the gray download progress bar near the bottom of the star too.
