I was just wondering, why does Apple have youtube on the iphone and ipod touch yet they don't support flash on browsers? As far as I know currently the iphones/ipod touch's do not have support for HTML5.. So whats going on here? Apple seems to be a bit of a hypocrite.. if you don't want to support flash why should you have a youtube app at all..

Apple has some work-around that allows youtube on the IP. IMHO, Job's is whacko about flash and Apple's IP, IT and IPad. I think it's so that Apple has total control of the video that they sell on iTunes. Also to lock the IPods out of free access to hulu type sites.

IF Apple tried to pull this BS on their computers, their sales would immediately crater. I've had a MB, now a MBP, and a new iMac. I wouldn't have bought any of these computers IF Jobs had tried this anti flash policy on ANY of these computers.
