my search skills have failed to help me with this question

whenever I plug in my touch to my imac, iphoto opens up but I haven't put any pictures on my touch and no pictures appear on it in iphoto

any ideas?

This happens to me whenever I take screenshots of my screen. (Using the Home + Sleep buttons) Just delete all the saved pictures that are on your iPod, or mess with the Preferences of iPhoto to stop it from starting up.

You now have four ways to put new photos on your Touch, so the folder where they are put now appears like any old camera to your PC.

1. Hold down your finger on a web photo for an option to save it to your Touch.
2. The same thing works within HTML email that has photos on it.
3. Home and Sleep buttons at the same time will capture your current screen as a photo.
4. Photo Attachments in your emails, hold a finger down for options to pop up.

problem resolved

thank you,

turns out I had had taken a screenshot without even realizing it and thats why iPhoto was opening
