I have no apple products hooked up to my computer at the moment. I click on the X, top right of Itunes on my windows 7 machine. It closes, then opens back up full screen. Only way to close the app is to ctrl alt delete, end process.

Why is this? Using latest x64 version. Any ideas?

Your iTunes may be corrupt.

you need to delete all its components (there are 6), re-download a fresh copy and then you may find that fixes it.

Incase you aren't sure you won't lose any music.

The antivirus on your machine can sometimes attack the download causing issues like this. Be careful but disable your AV whilst it downloads.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 gives you all the step by step instructions.

Hope that fixes it.

Syncing via wifi? Have you deslected the option for devices to open iTunes (yeah, I know, just thinking out loud). :)

I'm also on Windows 7 x64 and not having the issue so I don't think your's is a bug. As the other posted a reinstall is not a bad thing and I don't think it's necessary I am nervous and deauthorize the PC before dinking around with it.
