Why does MacOS have to attach it's self to your USB Pen Drive and then it won't let go?
This happens all the time, on Mohjave, Big Sur, El Capitan, Snow Leopard, etc.

How can you stop your Mac from being so Attached to your USB Drive? Or How can you Force it to just let go and Unmount your drive when you tell it to Eject?

This Mounting and Unmounting on My Mac's has ruined more Pen Drives than I can count on two hands. Half the time my Mac will either not unmount or it Unmounts Improperly thus ruining my USB Drive. I don't know what to do about it but it just keeps happening on every Mac I own. Is it a Defect of MacOS? Or What?

Please Help..

The only thing that I have noticed is that macOS can lie about disks being ejected several seconds before all write activity finishes. If you don't always wait an extra like ten seconds you might have a bad experience.

Mine does that sometimes too and will eventually Unmount or pops up a windows asking if I want to force eject the Drive or not, but other times my Mac's will not let go at all.

I was looking online for Force Ejecting a USB Drive and they suggest.

If you can’t eject an external disk or storage device
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > Log Out, then log in again. Try to eject the disk again.

If you still can’t eject the disk, choose Apple menu > Shut Down. Disconnect the disk from your computer, then start up your computer again.

That was actually how I last had to eject my Drive I had to Shutdown and when I restarted and clicked to Eject the Drive my Mac Finally Ejected it..

I'll probably try the logging out Method if it happens again.

Until I start learning programing with Xcode.
