Why does MacRumors take longer to load on 3G than EDGE?

It seems like when I'm on EDGE, MacRumors loads really fast, but when I'm on 3G, it takes the same amount of time or LONGER.

However, downloading apps from the App Store are really slow on EDGE and it's pretty speedy over 3G? Has anyone else experienced this?

Lately, I've found 3G to not be so amazing anymore.

You know what, the same thing happened to me the other day. I'm pretty sure its not the macrumors servers, almost 100% sure its AT&T's network. So many iPhones and other 3G phones on their servers are really taxing em out

Here in London England, 3G is faster than Edge(obviously) but not that much faster.
Browsing on Edge is still okay for me as well.
I'd still rather browse via Edge on an iPhone, than HSDPA on another phone, tbh.
