Why does Mission Control keep rearranging my desktops?

For some reason, Mission Control never respects the order I give to my desktops.

Why is it putting Desktop 4 before desktop 2 and 3?

If I drag the Desktop 4 to the end, within the minute it goes back to the second slot.

System Preferences > Mission Control > (uncheck) Automatically Rearrange Spaces...

And yes, I agree with you, very annoying. OSX uses some kind of usage based algorithm, that has never been helpful for me. Also wish I could make App Expose automatically arrange itself alphabetically without having to press the Cmd-1 keys.

I'm still getting used to the changes in Lion. So far I like it, except this Mission Control thing, which I think is inferior to Spaces and Expose.
