Why does my iPad keep pending updates?

theres always a little number badge next to the App Store icon because for whatever reason, updates keep stalling. Or they'll stay pending forever and I have to remove the app entirely and redownload it for it to go away. Wtf man?

I had that recently too. Just kept resetting the iPad and not sure if it worked. I'll double check when I get home. Otherwise, I have no idea what seemed to have caused it.

My air 2 and mini 3 have both been doing that lately even though I have them set to automatically update. I have to do most of the updates manually.

Just checked and yep i cant update these apps for the life of me. Its been like this for a few weeks now. Probably a bug from 9.1

I've had the same thing happen recently.

I can update then but they have to be done manually even though I've got automatic update set.
