I just switched over from at&t to sprint. When I had my old iphone I never had this problem. As with most phones, when you call another phone it says the number calling, and the city where the call is coming from underneath it. Mine says I'm calling from Lomita (incorrect) but when I had my old iphone it always said Santa Monica (correct).
I called sprint and talked to a million different people with different answers. Some said the iphone5 has more advanced technology so it's different.....uhhh that makes no sense because the city is now incorrect and with "less advanced" technology (the old iphone) it was correct. Another guy said it's the preface of the number (first 3 numbers after the area code) that also makes no sense because before switching to the new iphone it always said Santa Monica.
I do not want to change my number, I want it to say the correct city or say no city at all. No one else seems to be having this problem and I neeeed to fix this. Please help!!
