Why does my mac keep freezing and force closing ?

Whenever i go in my photo booth and go though the effects , it freezes then i have to force close . And it does it when i try to upload a picture on facebook. Its so annoying . Every single time , it just freezes . I didnt spend all this money to have a mac that makes me force close every single second . HOw to fix this ? Thanks

What OS are you running?
What other software do you have running at the time?

As MacDawg so eloquently put: more info is needed to properly assess your problem.

Also have a look at Applications / Utilities / Activity Monitor and don't forget to select SHOW ALL PROCESSES and sort by CPU usage.

Do any processes stand out in their CPU usage?

Also Utilities/Console.app and checking out the logs (all messages/console messages/system.log and the hang and crash reporter) might pinpoint something causing problems.

If you are using Firefox, turn off IPv6 ...

i have the white 2009 macbook .

i have the newset OS X

I have safai running and iphoto but thats it

How do you take a screen shot of your screen ?

How do you take a screen shot of your screen ?

CMD+SHIFT+1 or 2 or 3 or 4

It saves a picture onto the Desktop.

Or use Applications / Utilities / Grab.



And please us the

button to edit your posts instead of making consecutive ones.
