Hi. I have recently purchased a second hand MBP from a friend, its one of the older models with the silver keyboard, has 2.33 GHz intel core duo processor, 2GB ram, 160GB HD and runs fine. I have one problem though, when I load flash games or when I try to play a flash game it slows right down and runs slower than crawling speed. Is there any way I can speed it up or will it always be like this?

thanks!

Flash is highly CPU intensive and depending on the size and complexity of the Flash game, it might be too much for your CPU.

Have a look at Activity Monitor ( Applications / Utilities / ) and select All Processes and sort by CPU to see if Flash takes up that much CPU.

image below uses sorting by CPU as an example

Maybe you can provide us with a link to that Flash game, thus others with similar machines could try it and see, if it bogs down their Macs too.
