why does my new iPhone 12 Pro refuse to open app link in the App Store and open in Safari browser?

my other iPhones(SE 2016, 8, SE 2020, 11) all open the same link in the App Store

it's not about the podcast app.... I only used it as an example...

the app link for every app from the app store opens in the Safari browser on my new iPhone 12 Pro. but on all of my other older iPhones, the same links always open up in the App Store...
