Why does my white iPhone 4 keep restarting?

Guys

I have a brand new iPhone 4 White 16gb, brand new 2 days old.

I have been unable to charge it, it keeps restarting, even when plugged in to the mains charger.

I charged it on the mains for 12 hours and it got to 20% battery

I have restored and updated like 5 times, but still it wont charge, and restarts or switches off all the time.

Has anyone else seen this, a DOA out the box.

Probably just a hardware issue. I would take it back to Apple and get it replaced.
