I got 4 full bars, yet my connection drops while still showing 4 bars

In SL my connection didn't drop, in fact my 3 year old $500 PC which I gave to my girlfriend also works fine.

How do I fix the WIFI performance of this MBP?

( It's a clean install of Lion, it was no upgrade from SL )

Experiencing same issue with fresh install of Lion on my MBA 13U (late 2010).

Called Apple 2x and was told it's not on a "known issue" list, yet. First time around they had me do a p-ram reset [option/command/r/p (I think)], which didn't fix the issue. Second call had me tweaking the networking settings and "keychain access". Result... continue to drop WIFI connections at home and work. :(

If you haven't already, call Apple and see what else they recommend. They might mention re-installing Lion. (I flat out declined the option, but you might not.) Good luck.
