Im not totally convinced there is a wifi problem, Living in HCM Vietnam my new MacAir work,s flawlessly.

On a recent business trip to the Philippines I discovered the wifi problem everyone is complaining about, drop signal, wifi lost after awakening from sleep, won't connect to anything . I actually thought I had a problem with the new Air.

Once back to HCM , Perfect wifi.

Well, in SL it didn't drop like this, especially since I got 4 bars of WIFI strenght. So i don't think my hardware is broken or my router is bad.

I have the same problem on a 2011 13" MBP. I bought it with Snow Leopard back in May and it worked flawlessly then. It seems to be worse with networks that use 802.1x for authentication/encryption. If 10.7.1 doesn't fix it, I'm dumping Lion and going back to Snow Leopard. What a piece of garbage...

I actually had wifi problems with 10.6.8, with the occasional exclamation mark on my wifi icon. Had to turn off airport and back on which was a pain. With lion it actually fixed the problem for me :D
