iPhone Why does MyWi connect the phone to a router, when trying to share LTE?

My computer can tether off the phone fine, however, when I look at my phone, it connects to the wifi access point at work, while sharing a connection with the computer. I have the auto-wifi sharing option turned off, so I am wondering why BOTH arent using LTE? Why would my phone be connected to wifi when tethering? Turning off wifi completely, stops tethering from working so I cant use that method...

Basically, I dont want my phone on the wifi network at work at all while I am tethering...

You're probably need to adjust something in the mywi settings.
I dont have it installed yet to go look.
But seems like you're just sharing your wifi instead of your carriers data.

Checked the settings... no go. Switching back to tetherme.
