I've been noticing that my PB running Leopard has been slow intermittently lately, and looking at the Activity Monitor I see that PreferenceSyncCL occasionally is using up to 70 or 80% of the CPU. Usually this is during a MobileMe sync, but not always (could also be during iPhone/iPod syncing). Is this normal, and if not, how can I reduce this load?

Me too! PreferenceSyncCl is hogging my CPU and MacBook Fan

Hi - For the last week I've also had my computer slow down and the fan run 24/7. I have found via Activity Monitor that "PreferenceSyncCl" is killing my CPU. When I kill this process, all is happy again.

I had a 'hiccup' the other day on a regular restart (after a force shut down) and my dock setting were lost. It seems at the same time this problem began.

Help if anyone can. and thanks!

I have the exact same problem.
Did you find a solution?

Thanks,
Danilo
