Why does Safari Have duplicate icons after Lion install?

I just installed Lion and when I opened Launchpad I noticed there were two identical safari icons as well as identical Preview and Photobooth icons. Why is that?

i have the same problem, and it's well annoying, i tried everything and just can't get rid of them.

Happened to a bunch of my items-in your application folder do you have Safari in anyplace or folder except the app folder?

yeah, infact all the icons that were duplicated were in folders originally.
