Why does safari keep crashing??

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with safari??

Almost every time I go onto either Facebook or try to update my blog (Google one) it crashes. I would estimate it went down 20 times on me last night??

Anyone got any suggestions & I have checked I am running the most up to date software??

I try to avoid using Safari. I use either firefox or chrome. But I do have a few generic suggestions that might help you regardless which browser you use...

Frequent crashing is most often caused by plugins and addons. Both facebook and google heavily use javascript on their pages and I frequently get messages telling me the javascript on the page isn't responding and asking if I want to continue or quit that tab. I have found using a flash block program solves a lot of issues and my computer doesn't start unexpectedly playing music before the rest of the page is even loaded. I can click on flash to see it, but I'm not at the mercy of that stuff slowing down my browser and sometimes crashing.
