Was never into short cuts but have recently found three things that are worth using it for. However two out of the three have problems on my watch but are fine on my phone.
Shazam works fine on both.
Hole19 the golf app has its own shortcut that the app installs which starts a new round. Saves you opening the app then selecting the course and opening a new round. Works on phone. On watch it takes 10 seconds and then asks if it can run then thinks then says ‘could not run start round. This action encountered an error while running on iPhone. ‘
I have two shortcuts for my Philips hue lights. Lights on and lights off. Instant on my phone. On my watch. Wait a few seconds. It asks for permission. Waits a few seconds. Then half the time it gives an error. The other half the time it seems like it’s failed but honestly a matter of minutes later they come on.
