Bought a new iPhone running 18.2, immediately updated to 18.5. Turned on the App Privacy Report feature and noticed that a process titled ShortcutsActions is accessing my Contacts multiple times per day. However, I haven't given any apps permission to access my Contacts, and also I deleted the Shortcuts app right after setting up the new phone. I went back and turned on the privacy report on my old iPhone SE (also on 18.5) and sure enough, same thing. (At least on that phone, Shortcuts is installed, although I almost never use it.) My wife's iPhone 14 Pro on 18.5 has the same thing too. So, what's going on? Googling suggests other people have reported this, but Apple Support doesn't know what's happening and says I'll have to call to talk to someone to escalate to the next tech support level. (Having a hard time carving out time for that right now.)
