So I bought one of these cases. It's for the macbook pro. But ALL the cases I find all have this...

See how the back cover has all those holes and air vents? Um why? My mac has no openings or air vents and from what I can see most don't. So why is it there?

Did I end up ordering the wrong thing? Why does the back part have all the air vent and openings when there is no need for it?
 
The Macbooks don't have vents in those locations but they do radiate heat out through the aluminum. Covering that surface completely with insulating plastic would trap heat in.
 
Oh! SO that is why! Okay that makes sense now LMAO!

But is it okay it does this... it's on the macbook and the back part has this part that kinda sticks inside the vent at the back to hold it in place. Not sure if it's safe but I guess it's designed to be that way.

Nevermind with the back on it vibrates loudly with back off it's fine. So nevermind.
