Why does the iPhone 8 get the gold color but not the X?

Gold is my favorite color on any iPhone in general. The gold glass is beautiful on the iPhone 8.

I'm on a 6s plus I might just go to the 8 plus because of the gold color alone lol...

Do you think Apple will introduce new colors later for the X like they introduced the red for the 7 later after released?

It seemed like Apple tried to make a gold version of the X. I anticipate a gold version being released sometime next year, or reintroduced when they update the X in September 2018.
