Why does YouTube Look So Crap On 3G

I've never streamed YouTube on 3g, always wifi. I tried it on wifi for the first time today and it looks so crap but when I went back to wifi it looks crystal clear. What's the deal?

There's apps in the app store that are bigger then the average video, and you can download them over 3G!

get the iwhoppie app from app store, - this one lets you download or stream youtube files in high quality no matter if you are on 3 G or Wifi
